Casa del Sol al Sol derives its name from its enchanting water views from sunrise to sunset ("sol al sol") across both sides of the island. It is the closest private rental home to downtown with a swimming pool. A bus or taxi ride to town is inexpensive and takes only two minutes. The distance can be walked in less than 15 minutes.
The property is flexibly designed to rent as one unit (4 BR/4 BA) -- or to separate into three independent, well-appointed apartments, each with private entrance, custom cabinetry, and oversized sliding wood-and-glass doors that give glorious views of the ever-changing Mar Caribe. You can rent 1, 2, 3, or 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
The casually elegant Main House (the entire first-floor of Casa del Sol al Sol) is perhaps the most comfortable two-bedroom apartment on the island. It features a large, fully air-conditioned Great Room with living and dining areas, unobstructed sea views, and soft, upholstered furniture. The "cooks delight" kitchen is outfitted with granite countertops, dishwasher, and all appliances. The Main House is equipped with two color cable televisions, DVD player, stereo, and a washer and dryer. Each Main House bedroom has a private bathroom, with a king bed in the Master Bedroom, and your choice of twin beds kept separate or configured as a king bed in the Guest Bedroom.
Upstairs, a delightful, spacious Palapa Terrace offers two shaded, open-air sitting areas - one for each Studio -- perfect for morning coffee or sunset cocktails. At opposite ends of the Palapa Terrace are the entrances to the two stylish Oceanfront Studio apartments, each with a king bed, upholstered sofa, and dining area for 4. The studios feature step-out oceanfront balconies, walk-in closets and well-equipped mini-kitchens with nearly all the comforts of home.
Several hammocks hang in the shade for quiet relaxation around Casa del Sol al Sol, and a sandy beach below the Pool Terrace provides padded loungers for private sunbathing. You can hunt for Caribbean shells and sea glass on the rock-and-sand beach and watch for the twinkling lights of the cruise ships in the distance at night. Try star-gazing from the easily-accessible Roof Terrace for a uniquely romantic Isla experience.
The Guest Information Book in each suite lists local phone numbers and gives helpful hints for planning your ideal Isla vacation. With your free in-suite telephone, its easy to keep in touch with those back home - and to order takeout food, an in-house massage, make a restaurant reservation, or book a fishing charter, a day at a spa, or an appointment to swim with the dolphins. Casa del Sol al Sol is equipped with beach mats, portable chairs, coolers and towels to take on your island excursions. All units have hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, and electronic safes for the protection of your valuables. Purified water, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, sunscreen, flashlights and paper products are included in your rental.
Our pleasant, meticulous housekeepers Gladys and Maria will keep your rooms spotless, and our affable, English-speaking Property Managers Ricardo and Adan Lopez are at your service should you have any special requests.
